Teoti Anderson’s “Therapy Visit Disasters: What To Do When Things Go Wrong”
This presentation is ideal for those who are at the beginning of their training journey and are curious about what it takes to become a therapy team with their dog, as well as those who have recently started doing visits with an animal-assisted therapy organization. You will learn how to prevent problems through training and how to use a dog’s existing skills to mitigate issues. You’ll hear some real-life scenarios of therapy visit challenges and different ways to deal with them!
Presenter Teoti Anderson is a professional dog trainer, writer, and speaker. She is a founding member of Prescription Paws, a Delta Society Pet Partner affiliate, where she visits healthcare patients and children.
